Love it, and even though we’re vfx guys it’s still all about getting whatever you can in camera.  This is a testimate to ingenuity.

the sword identity trailer

The Sword Identity is a new upcoming martial arts movie which is written by the person who brought us Wong Kar-wai’s forthcoming feature “The Grand Masters” Xu Haofeng.

The movie is Set during the Ming dynasty, which is always a great watch and is about Japanese pirates invading China, so one man stands up and fights against them using a weapon by the famous General Qi’s regiment…. <see other trailers and read about the film here>

Wicked!! Go the WuXia…  can’t wait to check it out.

Once again—the sky saturates us with is deluge—accompanied by its loud burst of thunder—we’ve grown accustomed to. How long has it been raining on this city? Unfortunately the pics are all locked up nice and tight so I can’t show you a sample that is the goodness of this photography.  So you’ll have to trust me and go check them out.  All the work is fantastic, but I mostly enjoy the moods of the location shots.  Very cinematic in tone…  love the vibe!
